Education Outreach is centered around objectives set forth by HRI in order to realize our vision and further our mission. Our primary objective is to develop and support outreach and education initiatives that promote the development of critical thinking skills. HRI wants to assist and compliment similar outreach initiatives established by local and regional outreach programs. HRI believes it is imperative that we have educated citizens that are environmentally literate, both inland and on the coast, because we all are stakeholders when it comes to the resources that emerge from the Gulf of Mexico.
