This workshop, hosted by TAMUCC SACNAS, is to provide undergraduate students general guidelines to designing a scientific poster for professional meetings and conferences. The Society for the Advancement of Chicano/as and Native Americans in Science (SACNAS) is a society of scientists dedicated to fostering the success of young Hispanic/Chicano and Native American scientists—from college students to professionals—to attain advanced degrees, careers, and positions of leadership in science. The TAMUCC SACNAS Chapter’s focus on building a supportive STEM community on our campus, working with the Coastal Bend community in outreach and education, and increasing capacity and skills of our members.
