Joe Holland, M.S.
Joe V. Holland is a software developer on the GRIIDC data archive project and is working to move HRI’s current and legacy data into GRIIDC to benefit future research. He received a B.A in Trumpet at Eastern New Mexico University in 1975 and a M.S. in Computer Science from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi in 1985. He worked at Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) from 1985 until 2012. While at LANL his work included developing composeable constructive simulations for combat models, space situational awareness, and drug trafficking networks. Most recently he worked in modeling national infrastructure assets, threats, and vulnerabilities in domains such as economics, electric power, pandemics, and transportation. He is interested in reuse methods for data and systems as well as multidisciplinary analysis tools.
