Leslie Adams, M.S.
Leslie Adams is a research specialist in HRI’s Ecosystems and Modeling’s Analytical Lab. She received her Master’s degree in Mariculture from Texas A&M University – Corpus Christi in 2008 and her bachelor’s degree in Anthropology with a minor in Biology from The College of William and Mary in 1983 and has worked with HRI’s endowed chair Dr. Paul Montagna since 2008. Her graduate research focused on the effects of salinity on apparent amino acid digestibility by Pacific White shrimp. Leslie was in the Peace Corps and taught science in Botswana, Africa for three years after receiving her B.A. She has extensive experience working at various marine labs including the Hawaii Institute of Marine Biology, the Guam Aquaculture and Development Center and the UC Davis Bodega Bay Marine Laboratory in California.
