Expected Graduation Year
B.S. Biology, Butler University (2017)

Abe Margo is an M.S. student in the Marine Biology Program under Dr. Pollack. His research interests include conservation, freshwater and marine ecology, ecology of fishes, and environmental management. His thesis project focuses on refining a system for assessing biological health in tidal streams (bayous) along the upper Texas coast, as well as examining the link between land-use and tidal stream health. Born in northern Minnesota, Abe moved to Butler University in Indianapolis for his education where he worked in an entomology lab that examined physiological ecology and phenotypic plasticity in Pieris rapae butterflies.
