Bipana Sigdel works on the Gulf of Mexico Research Initiative Information and Data Cooperative (GRIIDC) project as Environmental Data Analyst at Harte Research Institute (HRI). She received her Master’s degree in Environmental Science and Policy from Clark University in Worcester, Massachusetts. Prior to joining HRI, she worked with multiple non-profit community organizations in Worcester and in Nepal as a community mobilizer and conservationist on different settings that involved working closely on a variety of projects with the rural communities living near national parks, students and other stakeholders. Her research interests include wildlife conservation, environmental health issues, global climate policy and its impact on resource efficiency in emerging economies, sustainable development and its enormous implications for the welfare of society.
