Claire Rydman, B.S.
Claire Rydman is a MS Environmental Science student at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi and a graduate research assistant for HRI’s endowed chair Dr. Jim Gibeaut in the Coastal and Marine Geospatial Lab. She graduated with a BS in 2009 from Texas State University with honors in Physical Geography and a minor in Photography. Claire’s thesis research involves modeling barrier island morphodynamic response to extreme storms. The efforts in her research hope to provide answers towards the sustainable use and management of the islands for protection from extreme events and climate change.
