Marisa Pryor has been working in the Ecosystems and Modeling Group at HRI since January 2016. Her studies have focused on offshore meiofauna communities in the benthic ecology laboratory where she works on projects related to the oil spills in the Gulf of Mexico, particularly the Deepwater Horizon accident of 2010 and the Ixtoc accident in Mexico in 1979. She is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in English and continues to work in the benthic lab.
