Tiffany Chin is an M.S. student in the Marine Biology program working with Dr. Michael Wetz in the Coastal Ecosystem Processes lab.  Tiffany’s research focuses on the response of estuarine phytoplankton to freshwater inputs in coastal bays. She earned a B.S. in Environmental Science from Dickinson College in 2016, where she studied the impacts of seasonal drivers on phytoplankton communities in lakes. After graduating, she conducted research on the diets of larval fish in Lake Michigan as a Great Lakes Summer Fellow with the Cooperative Institute for Limnology and Ecosystems Research at the University of Michigan and NOAA Great Lakes. She also conducted field sampling with the State of Vermont’s Lakes and Ponds Section and worked in animal care at ECHO, Leahy Center for Lake Champlain.
